If you're a fan of action films and spy TV shows, then the Bourne series is sure to satisfy your craving for adrenaline-laced thrills. The first film, "The Bourne Identity", starts out with agent Jason Bourne suffering from amnesia. But as he recovers from his injuries, he becomes aware of the fact that he was trained as a CIA assassin. And thanks to frequent flashbacks throughout the film, we learn about how Jason's father killed himself after being accused of being a traitor and how his mother had been institutionalized for trying to kill him when he was an infant. After we learn about Jason's past, we witness his pursuit of a group of CIA assassins called the "Treadstone" project. One of the members in Treadstone is Blackbriar, and she insists that her boss send Jason in to kill the other members in order to prevent them from escaping and killing more innocent people. And this is where "The Bourne Supremacy" picks up. After killing off the last member in Treadstone, Jason confronts Blackbriar at a local hotel. But when he tries to leave to go after his next target, he finds himself taking on an uphill fight against Blackbriar and her men. Now, Jason has no memory of his past, but in order to help him regain his memories and find the man who killed the rest of Treadstone, he reluctantly teams up with an old friend named Nicky (the woman with whom he worked at Blackbriar) to find out the truth about himself. It is only then that Jason learns that Treadstone was actually created by someone who was not associated with the CIA. He was a former Russian spy named Ari (played by Ben Affleck) and he was responsible for creating Treadstone as a way to create disposable spies who would do things like assassinate other spies. Jason also finds out that Blackbriar is not affiliated with the CIA or Treadstone, but with the Russian secret police. So when they go after Blackbriar, they are drawn into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse between the Russians and Blackbriar's team, with Jason constantly trying to figure out what his next move should be. As Jason fights his way across Europe, he slowly reaches the truth about himself. However, when he is at last reunited with his old friend Nicky, she urges him to stay away from her. And in an attempt to prevent Ari from getting to him, Jason gets himself into a deadly situation in which he has no choice but to kill the man who literally raised him. But even though we finally discover what direction Jason's life will take in the final film in the series, we don't really know what happened to Ari and his team. There were some suggestions that they were killed at the end of "The Bourne Ultimatum", but by the end of this film it felt like there were more questions that there were answers. cfa1e77820
